Maxim Consulting was contracted to replace an aging inventory system, enabled tracking of material loss during production and create a seamless integration of all the company's business functions. In response we developed the South Texas Can Custom Inventory System. The application is a real-time, integrated inventory and production control system built using a client/server architecture. It seamlessly integrates the full business cycle including Sales and Estimates, Purchasing, Material Receiving, Production, Shipping and Management/Accounting.
The application was built using PowerBuilder and a Sybase SQL Anywhere RDBMS. It supports touchscreen functionality, real-time inventory tracking, full audit ability and dozens of customized reports for upper management through the production floor.
